Perfect! There’s no better way to engage the wonderful Cuban people than by traveling on two wheels. Riding through the exquisite countryside, with stops at a cigar factory, a tobacco farm, a music school, artists’ studios, and colonial villages that seem trapped in the 19th century, will prove a truly enriching and rewarding experience.
We’ll fly direct from Miami to Havana, our point of arrival and departure. We’ll steep in the 1950's retro chic of Havana, with its Eisenhower-era Cadillacs and Edsels and Chevy Impalas with fins sharp enough to draw blood. Then, Chris will lead a sensational tour of Western Cuba that includes visits to many of his favorite places in Cuba: Viñales, with its tobacco farms beneath dramatic limestone formations… the Bay of Pigs… the city of Santa Clara, where Che Guevara is buried… the sugar-white beaches of the Cayos de Villa Clara… and 18th-century Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage City like no other.
Along the way, you’ll thrill to meeting Chris’ many friends: Artists… Historians… Park Rangers… And, of course, the harlistas—proud owners of pre-revolutionary Harley-Davidsons—who enjoy near celebrity status for their ability to keep their beaten-up motorcycles on the road.
