Ride Conditions This tour is a mix of paved and unpaved roads however heavily biased to touring off road and demands a dual purpose (on-off road) motorcycle equipped with tires having a more aggressive tread pattern for off road traction. Prior off road riding experience is essential. No single track. In addition to prior off road riding experience the riders physical condition, riding skills, and tolerance to more primitive and possibly unpredictable travel scenarios may be tested.

Support. We will be bringing our own support vehicle south, with satellite phone communication, expedition outfitted to address emergencies, supplied to deal with mechanical issues, capable of carrying one-two motorcycles and to serve in limited capacity to carry specific luggage items. Limited seating space available to non riding participants.

The Island of Chiloe off the Pacific coast of Chile is a feature of this tour we feel you will appreciate. It is often overlooked in the rush to get to Lands End but we have decided to return to this place of unique cultural heritage.

Machu Picchu in Peru is one of the world's most breathtaking archeological sights, a sprawling Inca religious center dating back to the mid 1400's located on a towering pinnacle overlooking the Urubamba Valley where the Andes meets the Amazona.

Cuzco was considered by the great Inca empire as the center of the universe. Today it is a blend of Spanish Colonial influences, rich indigenous characters and evidence of pre-Colombian ancient civilizations.

Colombia has shaken its past association with the drug world and is being recognized as a truly remarkable travel destination. For sure the welcoming nature of the people of Colombia will put to rest any concerns you may have.

The Andes is the worlds longest continental mountain range at over 4,300 miles and is your constant companion throughout this journey. When not crossing over its high altitude passes, you will be riding within its shadows or view its distant towering peaks.

In addition to the Andes, natural wonders abound on this tour including the glacier of Perito Moreno, the National Park of Torres del Paine, the desolate open spaces of the Patagonia and the salt flats of the Bolivian altiplano just to name a few. The touring adventurer will find this part of the world to be most fulfilling.

Tierra del Fuego, our ultimate goal, is the most southern point of population. Imagine your feeling of satisfaction having ridden the entire length of South America to Ushuaia, Argentina. Together, we will make that happen!
