Highlights
Two different tours are available. Look to our 9 day tour for an abbreviated Colombia riding experience.

Sitting at a height of 8,300 ft. above sea level Bogota will impress you immediately for its equally high culture and highly educated and polite population. With a profusion of exciting world class museums, we'll have to kick off your tour with a little orientation ride and a planned city tour.

Groups will be small our first season limited to only eight motorcycles. We know this is a preference and feel that you will benefit with an even higher degree of service and flexibility.

We can't avoid making reference to Juan Valdez. Remember that iconic television figure, the amiable gentleman farmer who along with his burro would engage you with his smile and make the sipping of Colombian coffee a near orgasmic experience? Well the truth is that Colombia has a huge coffee industry and if you love coffee, this is but one more reason to fall in love with Colombia. We'll visit lush green coffee fincas and learn all the wonderful process that provides us our daily wake up...can you smell the aroma?

Founded in 1616 by the Spanish, Medellin has numerous examples of Colonial architecture but is effectively blended with modern sophistication. Nestled in an Andean valley, you will long for more time in this city legendary for its nightlife and arguably the most beautiful city in all of South America.

The beauty of riding Colombia is its diversity. It has five distinct regions; the Caribbean Coast, the central Andean highlands, the eastern planes of the Orinoco River, the Amazonia located in the south east part of the country, and the Pacific coast to the west. Equally diverse are the people with colorful blends of European, native Indian and African heritage. These are the qualities that lend to this special MotoDiscovery touring experience.

Service. We've crafted a motorcycling experience that is heavy on providing you an authentic look into all that is the wonder of Colombia. That takes great people on the ground and we have the best. MotoDiscovery started in Latin America in 1981. Service and care of guests is genuine in the Latino culture, a proud value that is core here at MotoDiscovery no matter where we travel.

On the Caribbean, Cartagena is another Spanish Colonial gem. A World Heritage site, you will appreciate the time here to explore the European flavored centro, nearby stunning beaches of white sand and turquoise water. We'll have a city tour here. ( What are you doing New Years Eve? Join our New Year in Cartagena tour for an exciting fiesta)

Valledupar is said to be the greenest city in Colombia located between the Andes and the Caribbean. This is the "Big Sky" region of the country. You'll experience a sampling of the indigenous peoples including Colombia's cowboys and the Vallenato music, a fusion of European, African and native musical styles.

A great day of mountain riding will have you landing at the Canon de Chimcamocha. This geological feature has been referred to as a "mini" Grand Canyon.

Dining will be a pleasant adventure and of course MotoDiscovery considers this a vital component of any touring experience. In our usual style, on most occasions, you will have the freedom to choose from the menu as culinary exploration is as important to us as we know it is important to you... buen provecho... bon apetite!
