Bhutan Thunder Dragon
Nestled in the shadows of the Himalayas, few really are aware of this incredible country where as recently as the 1970's outsiders were forbidden entry. Consider this an adventure. Riding the venerable Enfield Bullet you will discover a mount that is in harmony with its environment. Simple, low tech, retro...and fun!
You must book well in advance in order to get the necessary visas, which of course MotoDiscovery pre-tour services will guide and assist you with.

HighlightsThe highlights of this event are not marked by the usual "tourist" sights found on souvenir post cards. Instead, it is the beauty of Bhutan's nature, ancient traditions, gracious peoples and the joy of sharing this extremely special experience with others that make this MotoDiscovery event so desirable.
The journey begins with your domestic flight from Delhi to Bagdogra (included) where you will be met by MotoDiscovery staff, and the motorcycles staged and ready for your ride.
The 17th-century Drukyel Dzong (Monastery fortress), is one of many such religious edifices you'll encounter in your travels. The renown Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Hermitage on the face of a sheer 3,000 ft. cliff will be forever etched in your mind ... an incredible photo opportunity.
You'll be riding into thin air as you cross high mountain passes offering magnificent views the eastern Himalayas.
Take the Nikka Shu road, carved into the face of a cliff overlooking the Mangde Chu River.
There will be time to purchase colorful artisans goods, hike the mountains, and engage the gracious locals.
Your Royal Enfield motorbike will be right at home as we take the road into the interior of Bhutan on a fantastic cliff-hugging, mostly paved, single-track road with thousands of turns through the Great Himalayan mountain range.
