Ride Conditions This tour is intended to be purely on paved surfaces and can easily be piloted by any experienced motorcycle touring enthusiast on any style and design of motorcycle including side cars and trikes.


HighlightsRiding across the highest point along the Pan American Highway, you'll transit the mountainous cloud shrouded region known as the Cerro de la Muerte. Your descent through lush coffee plantations highlands to where the Rio Baru spills into the Pacific will land you in the sleepy little surfer village of Dominical...authentic Costa Rica.

The Osa Peninsula is probably the most beautiful region of Costa Rica, jutting into the Pacific near the border with Panama, somewhat isolated known for lush jungles teaming with wildlife and where our lodge can only be reached by boat. It is here where the naturalist will appreciate why Costa Rica is so special. Lots of activities are available. You will love the accommodations and the nightly serenading by howler monkeys.

Panama City is a colorful blend of Afro-Caribe, French and native influences. The nightlife in the old Casco Viejo section of the city will be especially inviting for those who fall under the spell of the rhythms and energy found in salsa dance clubs. Of course we will have a tour of the Panama Canal region, a wondrous engineering accomplishment.

The Chiriqui Highlands of Panama offer some fun riding opportunities and again will touch the naturalist. Here, birdlife is abundant, the giant blue Morpha butterfly sails through the air and you just might catch the movement of a lumbering sloth.
