On arrival into the beautiful city of Guadalajara you'll be met and transferred to nearby Ajijic and the long time popular "expat" community of Lake Chapala. The region enjoys delightful year round climate and a reputation as a peaceful escape with all those qualities so attractive to foreign visitors seeking a more tranquil and rewarding lifestyle.

Tequila is more than just a high octane beverage. It is a colonial village founded in 1530 and as one might guess, the heart of distilling the blue agave that colorfully adorns the rolling hills of Jalisco state. We'll visit this town, get to know the process of creating Tequila and the rich Mexican tradition that dates back many hundreds of years.

Tapalpa is a picturesque Spanish Colonial era town resting in the pines at over 6,000 ft. and surrounded by lakes and mountains, a delightful stop after a day of riding the back roads of Jalisco. With white washed walls and red tile roofs you'll feel at ease walking the streets of this architecturally preserved village known for stylish galleries and a special local cuisine.

Puerto Vallarta may owe its birth to a film, Night of the Iguana with Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor but today it is one of Mexico's most favored Pacific resorts One can also escape the beachfront fantasies and head into the hills for a more authentic Mexico experience, enjoying jungle excursions and visits to native Huichole villages.
