This tour is entirely on paved roads, a romantic riding holiday ideal for couples or singles, created in premium MotoDiscovery style. MotoDiscovery does not do “budget” tours so count on this one to be exceptional in quality. The Northwest USA Road Tour has a strong appeal for riders coming from hotter regions of the USA with Washington providing pleasant summer temperatures in the Cascades and along the Pacific coastal waters of Puget Sound. Accommodations will be stylish and a la carte dining will take advantage of the broad international influences that abound in the Northwest. The availability of fresh seafood adds to the experience. The riding is wonderful! Group size limited to 10 people. This tour makes a great platform for designing custom and private tours for those who so desire. Please make early reservations.

Seattle. What a city. It is noted for its international flair, a global center of technology and education, and the aviation giant Boeing. Save time to visit the lively Pike Place Market along the Pacific inland Elliott Bay.
Like the explorers of Lewis & Clark you will find the beauty of the Cascade Mountains to be most memorable. For motorcycling, you’ll appreciate the twists of mountain curves and the quaint towns and villages you will encounter along the way. With a Native American, Goldrush, and pioneering heritage, you will discover the Cascades to be rich in natural beauty and history.
Riding the coastal waterways of Puget Sound will be a highlight. Short ferry hops from the mainland will have us meandering through seaside fishing villages with inland jaunts through agricultural areas that are dotted with wineries.
With passes named Rainy, Washington, and Stevens, the Cascades offers mile after mile of pleasant motorcycle touring. Daily distances are moderate allowing for time to explore and even take alternate routes to further fill your day.
Fine food and dining is a MotoDiscovery tradition. You won’t be disappointed on the Northwest USA Tour of Washington and Puget Sound. We’ll tap into the Asian influences for sure one night. Is this a good ride for couples?
Definitely. We have selected accommodations with a flair towards romance. The daily distances are reasonable and it is our goal that the time you spend off the bike is as fun and rewarding as when you are in the saddle. Invite your friends!
What is the weather like?
Tour dates are scheduled to run in traditional dry seasons. Temperatures will be pleasant, with coastal Pacific breezes and the higher Cascade Mountains providing average highs in the low 80’s, running a bit higher for brief stretches in the Eastern Cascades. Pretty perfect!
Can you assist if we wish to arrive early or stay after the tour?
Of course! We can book hotels, arrange for extended rental days, and offer advice on how you can optimize your holiday while in the area. Service. It is what we do!
Do I have to ride with the group?
MotoDiscovery serves individuals..not groups! Of course, you are free to break away and ride solo, even take alternate routes. You are likely to enjoy the social aspects of the tour but know we encourage you to enjoy the ride on your terms.
Will you transport our luggage?
Yes. We’ll have a support vehicle capable of carrying luggage and addressing any minor mechanical or emergency needs.
What if I have friends or family members who don’t ride. Can they still join us?
Yes. There is the option to rent a car. Space permitting we can have participants join us in the support van. We can hire a private driver if you wish. Call us and we’ll discuss the best solution for your needs.
I’d like to have a private customized tour just for me and my friends. Can you do that?
MotoDiscovery facilitates private tours for individuals and groups around the world. Designing the perfect private tour is a collaboration where we create the perfect experience according to your style and expectations. It can start by simply filling out this Private Custom Tour Form.
I’ll be riding solo. Do I have to pay the Single Occupancy Supplement?
Yes. If you have your own room the supplement will apply. The alternative is if other participants are signed up who are seeking a roommate. In this case, we will assign you, someone, to share a room and the additional supplement fee is then not necessary.
When should I make my reservation?
